Once you have downloaded the .zip file containing the .demo and matching .json file, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the T6 storage folder:

   You can copy and paste this path into your File Explorer's address bar. The AppData folder may be hidden by default.

   C:\Users\*YOUR USER*\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\t6
2. Create a 'demos' folder:

   Inside the t6 folder, create a new folder named demos if it doesn't already exist.

3. Extract the files:

   Extract both the .demo and .json files from the downloaded zip directly into this new demos folder.

4. Launch the game and watch the demo:

   a. Load T6 Multiplayer and go Online.
   b. Navigate to the Theater option.
   c. You should see your demo listed. Select it and press Start Film.

You can now view T5 (Black Ops 1) demos manually using an in-game console command. Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the T5 storage folder:

   Paste this into File Explorer. AppData may be hidden.

   C:\Users\*YOUR USER*\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\t5
2. Create a 'demos' folder (if missing):

   Inside t5, create a folder named demos.

3. Place the demo file:

   Drop the downloaded .demo file into the demos folder. (No .json is required for T5.)

4. Play the demo in-game:

   a. Launch T5 Multiplayer and go Online.
   b. Open the console (usually the ~ key).
   c. Type: /demo_play <name> (without the .demo extension).
   For example, if the file is finalclutch.demo, use /demo_play finalclutch.

T4 demos are per-player POV recordings — each player in a match gets their own .dm_6 file. There's no in-game theater UI, so you load and control playback from the console.

1. Navigate to the T4 demos folder:

   Paste this into File Explorer. AppData may be hidden.

   C:\Users\*YOUR USER*\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\t4\players\demos
2. Place the demo file:

   Drop the downloaded .dm_6 file straight into the demos folder. Keep the full filename, including the .dm_6 extension.

3. Play the demo in-game:

   a. Launch T4 (World at War) Multiplayer and go Online.
   b. Open the console (usually the ~ key).
   c. Type demo followed by the full filename, for example:

   demo autodemosv_1781551072_HGM_222290_tdm_mp_asylum.dm_6
4. Control playback (console or key binds):

   There's no on-screen scrub bar, so use these commands (or bind them to keys):

   • cl_pauseDemo — pause / resume.
   • cl_jumpDemoTime <ms> — skip forward, in milliseconds (e.g. cl_jumpDemoTime 30000 jumps 30 seconds ahead).
   • weapnext / weapprev — toggle third-person view.
   • cg_ufo / cg_noclip — free-roam camera (use together with third person).
   • timescale <rate> — playback speed (timescale 0.5 = half speed, timescale 2 = double).

Tip: bind keys for smoother control, e.g. bind p "cl_pauseDemo" and bind o "cl_jumpDemoTime 5000".

IW4x demos are per-player POV recordings — each player in a match gets their own .dm_13 file, so one match may have several points of view to choose from on the demos page.

You need both files. The download is a .zip containing a .dm_13 and a matching .dm_13.json. The .json holds the map, gametype, player and length for that recording, so keep the pair together.

1. Open your MW2 game folder:

   The folder IW4x is installed in — the one containing iw4mp.exe and main/. It is wherever you installed Modern Warfare 2 (2009), for example:

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
2. Create the demos folder:

   Inside that folder, create userraw\demos if it does not already exist:

   ...\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2\userraw\demos
3. Extract both files:

   Extract the .dm_13 and the .dm_13.json from the zip straight into userraw\demos. Keep the filenames exactly as they are — the two are paired by name.

4. Play the demo in-game:

   a. Launch IW4x.
   b. Open the console (usually the ~ key).
   c. Type /demo followed by the demo name, for example:

   /demo auto_war_mp_terminal_GHGM_1788272927

   If it does not start, try again with the full filename including the .dm_13 extension.
