S1‑Mod — AlterWare

What you need

• A legitimate copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on Steam.
• Windows PC with the game installed (default path: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonCall of Duty Advanced Warfare).

Install steps

1. Download the AlterWare launcher from the official releases page: AlterWare Launcher (latest).
2. Open your Advanced Warfare game folder (see the default path above if you’re unsure).
3. Place the launcher executable into that folder next to the game’s .exe files.
4. Run the launcher from inside the game folder and let it fetch and install the S1‑Mod files.
5. Use the launcher to start the game going forward (you can create a desktop shortcut to it).

Notes

• Steam must be running, and your account must own the game. The client relies on official ownership checks.
• Keep the launcher inside the game directory so it can find and manage the files correctly.

Troubleshooting

• If nothing happens, make sure you launched the executable from inside the Advanced Warfare folder.
• If the launcher can’t detect the game, double‑check the folder path and that the launcher sits next to the game’s executables.
