IW7‑Mod — AuroraMod

Required: You must own the game on Steam. If your Steam account doesn’t own it, the mod will not work.

Step 1 — Download the build from GitHub Actions

  1. Make sure you are signed in to GitHub.
  2. Open the repo: AuroraMod IW7‑Mod
  3. Click the “Actions” tab.

  1. In the left sidebar, choose the “Build” workflow.

  1. Click the most recent run at the top of the list.

  1. Under Artifacts, click “Release binaries”. This downloads a zip file.

Step 2 — Extract the zip

  1. Extract the downloaded Release binaries.zip.
  2. Inside, you should see at least:
    • iw7-mod.exe
    • iw7-mod.pdb

Step 3 — Install into your game folder and run

  1. Copy iw7-mod.exe into your Infinite Warfare installation directory (the same folder as the game’s executables).
    • Default Steam path:
      • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty - Infinite Warfare
  2. Launch iw7-mod.exe from that folder.

Troubleshooting

  • If it says the game isn’t found, the executable is probably in the wrong place. Make sure it’s in the same folder as the game’s .exe files.
  • If the download or artifacts are missing, confirm you’re signed in to GitHub and that you opened the latest successful “Build” run.
